Graduate Supervisor Institute
The Memorial University-Athabasca University Graduate Supervisor Institute (GSI) consists of 10 sessions offered from October to July each academic year. Each session covers a topic area relevant to graduate supervisors, and provides an opportunity to informally meet, ask questions, and discuss issues and best practices in graduate student supervision. Where possible, sessions may also include guest subject matter experts from within and outside Memorial University and Athabasca University.
GSI participants must be employed as contractual or permanent faculty at either Memorial University or Athabasca University to be eligible. Participants must regsiter for each session they plan to attend.
