Internal and External Supports
We encourage you to avail of supports.
Because everybody reacts differently to sexual assault, it is important to choose the supports that would be of most benefit to you. As a service of the Sexual Harassment Office, the Sexual Harassment Advisor is available to help you decide which resources would be most beneficial for you and can help facilitate a referral to these supports. Perhaps medical attention is all you want to deal with right now and, in time, you may choose to also seek support from a counsellor or a crisis line. Perhaps you can't think about resources right now, and that's okay, but know they are available to you if and when you are ready.
