Memorial University of Newfoundland Alumni Entrance Scholarship

Dr. Leslie Harris Memorial University Alumni Association Scholarship

To be eligible, you must be graduating from a Newfoundland and Labrador High School, entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at Memorial University in September, and have an early admission average of 90% or higher. No transcript is required. Your previous year final grades and current year registrations are obtained from the Department of Education automatically. Applicants must have also demonstrated leadership contributions to school and community in Levels I, II, and III.

  1. Student Information

    • Complete the Student Information section.
  2. Activity Summary

    • Provide information about your high school extracurricular and community leadership activities.
    • List only those activities that have occurred within the last three years.
    • Limit your comments to those activities in which you have had a leadership role. DO NOT include paid employment.
    • Activity/Group - Name activity or group/team. (Maximum of 5 of your most significant activities)
    • Description - Briefly describe your participation.
    • Provide dates and estimated number of hours spent participating in each activity (e.g. 3 hrs per week, January 2023 - June 2023).
  3. Reference Letter

    • One reference letter required
    • Click the button below to send a request to your referee. Your referee must submit their letter of reference for you by Dec. 21, 2023.
  4. Submit by Dec. 15, 2023. Please ensure that when you apply, you allow for sufficient time for your referee to submit their reference letter. 

The application for the Memorial University of Newfoundland Alumni Entrance Scholarship and the Dr. Leslie Harris Memorial University Alumni Association Scholarship is now closed. Any submissions via this form during this time will not be accepted or considered.
