Ms. Hann has had a highly successful career in both the public and private sectors.
Her executive roles in the provincial government include clerk of the Executive Council and CEO of the Workers’ Compensation Board (now WorkplaceNL). While living in Alberta for 11 years, she served as president of two national industry associations and was an executive with an international mining company.

Ms. Hann has been a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors since 2012 and received ICD.D director designation in 2013.

She was twice named one of the top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada and was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for public service.

Her relationship with Memorial includes serving as assistant registrar and previous member of the Board of Regents.

Ms. Hann has been a board member of End Homelessness St. John’s since February 2020.
