New students invited to Everything Science 2013
Everything Science 2013 is the Faculty of Science's way of welcoming incoming undergraduate students to the faculty.
The orientation event will take place Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 9 a.m. in the lobby of the Science building. It will include an introduction to science at Memorial, followed by a chance to meet academic advisors and student society executives from the various science departments who can answer questions about science programs and activities.
Students will also be given the opportunity to tour labs, facilities, student society rooms and the numerous help centres the Faculty of Science provides. Those who stay until the end will enjoy free pizza and our special liquid nitrogen ice cream.
Students can also take home science freebies and have the chance to win $50 gift cards from the Memorial University Bookstore.
