The deadline to apply is January 15 every year for intake in the Fall semester. Late applications will not be considered.

Applicants to the Master of Science in Nursing Practicum option must meet the following criteria:

1. Completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited program in Canada, or an equivalent from an institution recognized by the University, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B).
2. Completion of an undergraduate statistics course and research methods course with a minimum grade of B (65%) in both.
3. Completion of a minimum of 1950 clinical hours as a Registered Nurse at the time of application.
4. Applicants must have a practicing nursing license (in good standing) from the applicant's nursing regulatory body. 
5. Completion of an English Language Proficiency tests, if the medium of instruction of your previous degree was not exclusively in English. Acceptable English Language Proficiency tests can be found in the university calendar.

1. An employment verification letter with your total hours worked as a Registered Nurse
