The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) (Collaborative) program is offered at three locations:
This September, 2022, the Faculty of Nursing will offer the BScN program at three satellite sites in:
- Happy Valley-Goose Bay
- Grand Falls-Windsor
Which site is best for you?
While the curriculum is the same at all sites, you may wish to consider factors such as the availability and cost of residence and transportation costs when making your decision.
Students in St. John’s and Corner Brook sites have access to computer and library facilities, recreational activities, health care, and counselling services. Access to library facilities and counselling services at Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor will be through remote access to Memorial University.
You will indicate your site preferences on your application form for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) (Collaborative) program and you can rank your top three preferences.
How will the program be delivered in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor?
Nursing classroom courses will be offered remotely to students. Nursing skills lab and clinical experiences will be offered at your site. A few courses are offered online or remotely to students at all sites including in St. John’s and Corner Brook, including Biochemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. Some clinical courses require travel to another area of the province for students at all sites including students at St. John’s and Corner Brook sites.
