The mission of the MSA is the following:
- To provide Muslim students with a comfortable and welcoming campus environment for fulfilling their religious duties and services.
- To help build bridges between Muslims and non-Muslims to reach mutual respect and understanding.
- To dispel misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
The first step in getting involved with the MSA is purchasing an MSA Membership Card. The MSA membership is open to registered MUN students. To become an MSA member, there is a fee of $5 annually to be paid in cash. By registering yourself as a paid MSA member, you are given the opportunity to vote in MSA executive elections, run for Executive positions, and receive various discounts on MSA ticketed events as well. Membership cards will be valid for a period of one year, expiring as per the date listed on the card.
