Adm. Hist/Bio. Sketch: William Pain was a mariner from Poole, the son of Elizabeth and Nicholas Pain, brother of John Pain and he was the nephew of John Spurrier. He died ca. 1782.

Elizabeth Pain was the widow of Nicholas Pain and the mother of William and John Pain. She died ca. 1794.

Nicholas Pain was the husband of Elizabeth and the father of William and John Pain.
