Adm. Hist/Bio. Sketch: "Rona" (ex "Polly Woodside") official number 90129, built in Belfast in 1885, 678 gross tons. Sold and renamed "Rona" in 1904. Restored by Australian National Trust, 1973-77.
Scope and Content: Photographs of the Polly Woodside including the vessel as the Rona in ca. 1905; as a hulk/lighter in ca. 1966; and in stages of restoration in 1974-75 in dry dock in Melbourne, Australia. Photographed by V.M. Darroch, volunteer with the National Trust of Australia.
