Biography/Admin History: S.S. "Bruce" - built by Napier & Miller Ltd. at Old Kilpatrick, Scotland in 1911, official number 129921, 1553 gross tons. Owned by the Reid Newfoundland Company, St. John's, Newfoundland, 1912-1915. Sold to the Russian Government in 1915.
