Biography/Admin History:	The brigantine "Trusty," Official Number 64274, 163 gross tons, was built in 1872 at Bridport, England. Registered at St. John's, Newfoundland on May 7, 1872 and was owned by John Munn, a merchant from Harbour Grace. Registered de novo in 1895 and ownership was transferred to Henry J. Stabb, a merchant from St. John's. In July of 1904, Stabb sold the vessel to Joseph Grigg Coode from Cornwall, England.
