Biography/Admin History: The brigantine "Atlanta," official number 34590 was built in 1864 by James White at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and was registered at St. John's, Newfoundland on November 25, 1864, owned by Azariah Munden, a shipowner from Brigus. The vessel was registered de novo in May of 1878 and then rebuilt at Brigus, Newfoundland by Nicholas Smith. The "Atlanta" was broken up at Harbour Grace, Newfoundland on October 25, 1900.
