Biography/Admin History: The brigantine "Shamrock," Official Number 90264, was built in 1885 at Carbonear, Newfoundland, by Michael Kearney and Richard Horwood. She was registered on July 14, 1885 and owned by John Rorke, a merchant from Carbonear, Newfoundland. The vessel was destroyed by fire at Cape Harrison, Labrador in 1901.
