Shilston at Plymouth, England and was registered there until the following year when the registery was transferred to St. John's, Newfoundland, #116 on June 22, 1906. The owner at that time was Robert Ehlers, merchant of Bristol, England. By 1910 the vessel was owned by Norman Munn, of Harbour Grace.
