Biography/Admin History: The schooner "Antoinette," official number 119340, was built in 1905 by William H. Shilston at Plymouth, England and was registered there until the following year when the registery was transferred to St. John's, Newfoundland, #116 on June 22, 1906. The owner at that time was Robert Ehlers, merchant of Bristol, England. By 1910 the vessel was owned by Norman Munn, of Harbour Grace. The vessel was reported missing after leaving Patras, Greece on December 28, 1914 and the registry closed on April 15, 1918.
