Biography/Admin History: The schooner "Procyon," official number 119518, 113 gross tons was built in 1889 at Essex, Massachusetts. Bought in 1905 by the Anglo-Newfoundland Fish Exporting Co., Ltd. from Liverpool, England, a company partly owned by William Munn of Harbour Grace. Registered at St. John's, Newfoundland #88 in that year and was employed in the trades from Labrador to Southern Europe. Wrecked at Sandy Point, Labrador on September 27, 1914.
