Biography/Admin History: The schooner "May," Official Number 66837, was built in 1873 at Teignmouth, England by Mansfield. She was registered on January 2, 1874 and owned by Richard Harvey and William John Carnell, both of St. John's, Newfoundland. She was lost at Bonne Bay, west coast of Newfoundland on November 25, 1903.
