Biography/Admin History: The schooner "Grace," Official Number 87131, was built in 1883 at Ipswitch, England by William Bayley & Sons and was originally owned by Henry Harrington, a London shipbroker. Harrington sold the "Grace" to Augustus Goodridge and George Carter, merchants from St. John's, Newfoundland, and Eugene White and Henry Harrington, tradesmen from London, England. In the winter of 1912, the "Grace" went missing off the coast of Portugal and was never heard of again.
