Biography/Admin History: "General Currie" - Built at Grand Bank, Newfoundland by Eli Harris in 1918, schooner, official number 142045, 195 gross tons, registered at St. John's, Newfoundland #114 in 1918, owned by Samuel Harris Ltd. of Grand Bank in that year. Stranded and became a total loss at Dog Island, St. Pierre on 30 March 1922 while under the command of Capt. Clarence Williams.
