Duncan & Co., Ltd. She was originally named the "Highland Laird" and owned by W. & H. Nelson & Co., Liverpool, England. In 1928, she was purchased by Job Brothers and Company, St. John's, Newfoundland; renamed; and converted into a factory-freezer. She was the largest steamer in the Job Brothers fleet.
