Biography/Admin History: The schooner "Cape Race," Official Number 140869, was built in 1918 at Liverpool, Nova Scotia by McLean and Rawding for F.H. Ellis & Co. The vessel later passed to Mark Burke of Newfoundland and finally to Reuben G. Benson of St. John's, Newfoundland. She was wrecked near St. Shott's, Newfoundland on July 29, 1932.
