Biography/Admin History: "Saint Laurent" was a French cargo steamer built by Chantiers de Normandie, Grand Quevilly in 1905. 5,607 gross tons ship, launched on 19/5/1905. On 5/2/1917 she caught fire in Malta harbour when loaded with explosives, suffered two explosions and was sunk by torpedo to avoid a catastrophic explosion.
