Biography/Admin History: The schooner "Tobeatic," Official Number 126036, was built in 1908 at Liverpool, Nova Scotia by Abram Hendry (also owner). Hendry sold her to Henry Petite, a master mariner from Mose Ambrose, Newfoundland on July 21, 1909. In less than a year, Petite sold one third of his shares to A.E. Hickman and another third to Arthur Rendell, both of St. John's, Newfoundland. She was abandoned at sea in the Western Atlantic on January 22, 1914 at 5 p.m.
