Biography/Admin History: Built in the United Kingdom in 1929, 1,638 gross tons, official number 155800, registered at St. John's, Newfoundland #12 in 1929, and owned at that time by Bowring Brothers Ltd. of St. John's. Built specifically for the seal fishery, and used for the rest of the year as a general cargo vessel. Lost September 21, 1940 at Cape Canso while on a chartered run from the Caribbean to the Gaspe Peninsula.
