Biography/Admin History: "Cupica" - built in 1888 at Londonderry, 3 masted barque, official number 93833, 1240 gross tons, registered at Glasgow in 1916. Sold to Monroe Export Co. Ltd. in 1916 and registered in St. John's, Newfoundland. Captured and sunk by gunfire by a German submarine at Scilly Islands, 19 October 1917.
