| Biography/Admin History: | The brig "Alert", possibly official number 34213, gross tonnage 148, was built 1859 at Brigus, Newfoundland and registered there to Azariah Munden. He was still the owner of record in 1918, but the vessel was closed off the registry the next year since it no longer existed by that time. |
