Biography/Admin History: Built in the Scilly Isles in 1874 and registered there, brigantine, 164 gross tons, official number 58222. Registered at St. John's, Newfoundland #102 in 1874 and owned by Charles Thomas Bennett, merchant, of Bristol, England. Abandoned in the Atlantic Ocean 18 February 1908 while on a voyage from Oporto, Portugal to St. John's under the command of Capt. Cave. Owned at that time by Augustus Goodridge.
