Originally named "London", registered in Dundee, Scotland, and owned by Dundee, Perth & London Shipping Co. Ltd. Used in the film "Fire Down Below" in 1957. Sold in 1964 to Winsor Trading Co. Ltd. of St. John's, Newfoundland and renamed "Winsor Trader". Sold again in 1967 to Topsail Shipping Co. Ltd. of St. John's and renamed "Topsail Star". During this time, the vessel operated as a coastal freighter that travelled to Labrador with Master Lloyd Bugden. Ran aground at the entrance to Bridgeport in Notre Dame Bay, Newfoundland in 1986. It was towed out and repaired enough to get to St. John's for further repairs. Sold in 1988 to Naviera Straule S. de RL, San Lorenzo, Honduras, and renamed "Sophie Express". Sold two more times in the 1990's before being sold one last time in 1998 to Rochester Holdings Inc. of Haiti, and renamed "Adolphus Busch I". Struck a pier while docked at Port au Prince during Hurricane Georges September 23, 1998. Scuttled December 5, 1998. | Collector: | Harold L.
