 Notes:   Brigantine Betsy, 50 tons, with 7 men, built in new York in 1752 and registered in London in 1753, John Clapp, owner - CO 5 849. Between 1757 and 1760 Clapp made several visits to and from Salem and Corunna - 1757, Hampton - 1758, Lisbon - 1758, Europe - 1759, Lisbon, Maryland, Virginia - 1759, and New York - 1760. In 1758, 1759, and 1760 the vessel was still registered in London and owned by John Clapp.
