The Grand Turk arrived back in Salem harbor on May 22 1787.1 The June 5th edition of the Salem Mercury carried the following advertisement:
"FRESH TEAS JUST IMPORTED FROM CHINA
By Wm. Vans and Son
And to be SOLD, by dozen or single
pound, VERY CHEAP, at his shop
in Salem.
ALSO Elegant China Ware." |
