SUBJECT: Genesis company providing knowledge sharing solutions to Cahill Group
DATE: April 8
Genesis company totaliQ has initiated an implementation project for its knowledge sharing solution with the Cahill Group, one of the largest multidisciplinary construction companies in Canada.
“We are thrilled to help a market leader like Cahill maximize the value of their organizational knowledge,” said Andrew Sinclair, CEO, totaliQ.
“Knowledge sharing and process improvements are crucial to be progressive and competitive,” said Kevin Boudreau, manager, project services and quality, Cahill Group. “Lessons learned can become just another database, even when they are properly documented. We’re looking forward to working with totaliQ to implement a technology solution that enables us to really learn from our experiences.”
Cahill joins trajectorE, a specialty engineering company, and the Project Management Institute, Newfoundland and Labrador chapter, as totaliQ customers.
This announcement follows on the heels of totaliQ securing approval for more than $300,000 in funding to implement machine-learning capabilities into their cloud-based software platform, which will enable customer organizations to gain further value from their knowledge data.
The Government of Canada is providing up to $250,228 through the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program to support the firm’s research and development activities. Additional funding is coming from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Newfoundland Association of Technology Industries and Mitacs. Dr. Moulay Akhloufi and his team at the Université de Moncton have partnered with totaliQ on the machine learning project.
A resident of Genesis’ Enterprise incubator program for growth phase companies since October 2018, totaliQ has six employees in St. John’s, N.L., and Toronto, Ont., and is in the process of growing its software development team.
totaliQ is a knowledge sharing solutions company that helps colleagues harness the value of their collective experience to solve everyday business and technical problems. Andrew Sinclair founded the company in 2018 after spending 15 years in the engineering, construction and natural resource sectors. For more information about totaliQ, please visit online.
