What is International Development Week?

International Development Week (IDW) is an annual event in Canada designed to highlight the work in which individual associations and organizations are engaged with respect to their role as global citizens. 

Memorial's activities are planned in coordination with the over-arching theme developed by Global Affairs Canada and through our affiliation with the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation (ACIC).

Each year IDW's theme aligns with the United Nation's (UN) Sustainable Development Goals. The activities thus planned for IDW at Memorial will similarly align with specific goals championed by the UN.
