Fall Arrivals 2020

Welcome (back) to Memorial University!

For the Fall Semester 2020, teaching and learning will take place in a primarily remote and online teaching and learning environment. This means that you will have the option to start or continue your Memorial University education from the comfort of your home wherever you are in the world.

It is important to note that you are not expected to travel to Newfoundland and Labrador to complete your studies in fall 2020. The Government of Canada international travel ban remains in place at this time.

Memorial’s main priorities are to ensure that all current students are able to successfully progress through their programs, and that all new students have the best possible start to their academic experience at Memorial, despite the challenges associated with ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic.

Under exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to return to Newfoundland and Labrador. However, if you choose to physically come to Newfoundland and Labrador to study - and are eligible to do so - we have prepared some information to help guide you through the process.

DO NOT book travel until you have gone through the steps on the subsequent pages.

As always, if you have an questions or concerns about your arrival can be directed to international@mun.ca or engage in our live chat with a student staff member of the Internationalization Office.
