Shifting Gears: Sketching Out Your Grant Plans

Join HSS Associate Dean (Research) Tana Allen, and HSS Grant Facilitation Officers Heather C. O'Brien and Matthew Milner in a series of Spring Webinars designed to help you shift gears from teaching towards developing your research plans for the coming year. All are welcome, whether you plan to apply in 2020 or are thinking about applying in the future.

This webinar will lay out how grants and grant writing operates as a specific kind of writing distinct from other forms of academic and scholarly prose.

SSHRC Insight Grants

May 6, 2021 - 11am-12pm

This webinar will focus on SSHRC's Partnership Program and its three grant opportunities - Partnership Engage, Partnership Development, and Partnership Stages 1 & 2. Emphasis will be on discerning which grant opportunity within the program is best for a given stage of research, and how to think about development from the smaller initial funding of the Engage through to the full Partnership opportunity.
