Functional Economic Regions
Research from Memorial University’s Harris Centre examines how regions are organized in Atlantic Canada and suggests a new approach to regional planning and development that may enhance economic success for communities and regions across Atlantic Canada. The work provides five broad categories of “functional economic regions,” with varying levels of economic capacity.
