Labour Relations in the Workplace explains employment law, the collective bargaining process, collective agreements, and the grievance and arbitration process.  Participants will learn the legal aspects of contracts of employment, constructive dismissal, legal notice and termination.  The seminar will help participants interpret and construct collective agreements.  The grievance process will also be explored and participants will learn the grievance procedure, types of grievances, timing and processing of grievances, and the benefits of grievance arbitration.
