Interior Commemorative, Donor Recognistion Plaques
Interior Commemorative and Donor Recognition plaques are professionally designed internally through a working relationship between Facilities Management (FM) and the Division of Marketing and Communications. The plaques are designed as part of the MUN St. Johns Campus Standard Signage and Wayfinding (Currently under review). All signage produced on campus complies with MUN’s Brand Standards.
Plaques are installed in specific locations/spaces such as: next to classroom entrances, research laboratories, conference rooms and auditoriums, plaques may not be limited to these locations alone. Generally, approval depends on a thorough internal review to maintain adherence to MUN standards.
Plaque content is typically reviewed and approved by FM Space Planning and Administration, Sign Shop and Division of Marketing and Communications. This initial review takes place before the Service Material Acquisition (SMA) (Service Material Authorization Form) is submitted to FM Work Control. Plaque approval is content dependent and from time to time plaques with more intricate designs may have to be done ‘out-of-house’, through a third party outside of the campus depending on the review process. This is standard procedure for Interior Commemorative and Donor Recognition plaques and process may be subject to change as our campus standards are under review and development.
There are two options/styles so far, one plaque style/format for each Interior Commemorative and Donor Recognition plaques respectively. See below.
Note: If neither of the options outlined fits the requestors’ requirements (due to more intricate designs or high priority type dedications), please contact Sign Shop for more information.
