Hello, my name is Zijian Li. I come from China. Born in an oilfield, with my parents are both petroleum engineers, I developed my interest in petroleum production since I was very young. When I grow up, I got several short-term internships in drilling, logging and fracturing. After getting my bachelor degree in Offshore oil and gas engineering, I came to Canada for Master degree in drilling engineering with Dr. Butt.

Research Interest:

My research interests include discrete element method simulation, drilling penetration mechanism and geotechnics. I am also interested in dynamic modeling and finite element method simulation. I will spare no effort in research with Dr. Butt.
