Undergraduate studies is where you begin your path to a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Engineering at Memorial is a five-year, mandatory co-op program broken down into eight academic terms and up to six co-op work terms.

Engineering students begin in a common first year called Engineering One. The undergraduate office helps support students throughout their degree, but especially through Engineering One, or first-year of engineering. The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Director of First Year, Student Liaison Officer, Engineering One Student Success Centre and the entire undergraduate team are there support students.

Detailed information about Engineering One

In second year (Term 3), Engineering One students (also known as first-year engineering students) begin their major of choice. Students can choose: civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, process or ocean and naval architectural engineering.

To apply to Engineering One, students can complete the general application for Memorial.
