International Applicants

International applicants needing to go through the Visa process, MUST apply for Fall Semester only. This is to allow sufficient time to attend to the planning procedures required for coming to Canada (study permits, financial planning, finding a place to live, etc.).

To be considered for the fall semester, international applicants need to have the application and supporting documents submitted by the February 1st deadline of each year.

Application Deadlines for Programs:

  • Counselling Psychology
  • Extended until May 2nd, 2022 for all applicants
  • Full-time students - start September in the year they apply

(The counseling psychology program has been undergoing revisions in an effort to improve the program and to provide additional experiential components. We anticipate the program will be offered in Fall 2022. The program is expected to be more comprehensive and longer to accommodate additional courses. Program fees will reflect these changes. To allow for final approval of the program revisions, there will be an extension of the counseling psychology program application deadline to May 2, 2022.)

Students who have already applied and no longer wish to wait for the program relaunch, may withdraw their application and request a reimbursement for any fees associated with the application process. This can be done by emailing gradapply@mun.ca.

Note: No winter admission for Counselling Psychology program.

Application Processing Fee:

Canadian Applicants - $60 / non-Canadian Applicants - $120
