I am an Honorary Postdoctoral Fellow in Geophysics working in the Memorial Applied Geophysics for Rift Tectonics (MAGRiT) group. I hold a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Global Fellowship funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program for my research project “SUBIMAP: Subduction Initiation at Magma-poor margins: an Atlantic Perspective”. The project will be developed between the MUN and the FCiências-ULisboa (Lisbon, Portugal).

I have been working on Tectonics, Geophysics, Marine Geology and Regional Geology. My main research line corresponds to the study of the structure of the subsurface using geophysical and geological data.
My research activity has focused on the study of extensional processes, the structure and tectonic evolution of divergent margins, the contractional reactivation of divergent margins and rift systems, and subduction initiation processes.
