Thesis Title: Investigating variance in deep soil carbon stocks at boreal forest hillslope loss and deposition areas using ground penetrating radar.

Supervisor: Dr. Susan Ziegler

Other Information: I am greatly interested in the environmental and climate science applications of geophysical techniques. My focus is mainly on the use of ground penetrating radar (GPR) to determine soil structure in boreal forest ecosystems. The goal of my research into these topics is to contribute to improving the scientific methods behind determining deep soil carbon stocks and improve the accuracy of estimating these values for more accurate carbon budgeting. Other research interests of mine include soil science, near-surface seismic methods, and use of GPR in geotechnical and engineering applications.
