Accessing the NMR 300

The NMR 300 is equipped with an autosampler. There is no need to book time to run experiments. Once you have received training, simply come and set up your experiment; it will join the lineup of experiments waiting. Overnight experiments can be set up during the day. When your experiment is finished, you will receive an email alerting you of its status as well as a PostScript file of your spectrum.

Variable temperature

For variable temperature experiments, you should consult with Dr. CĂ©line Schneider. High temperature can normally run within ICON (the automation software), however low temperature experiments will need to be run manually by yours truly.

Open Lab Hours

The doors of the lab are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (4:30 p.m. in the summer) on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Basic maintenance is performed every Tuesday morning until 10 a.m. and the lab is closed during that time. Exceptional lab closure will be announced by email (CCARTserv), on the scheduler's news as well as on our FaceBook group.
