1. Apply to graduate

Graduation starts with a formal application.

In order to graduate you must apply to graduate regardless of whether you plan to attend convocation. Log onto Memorial Self Service to fill out the application for graduation. 

2. Find your ceremony

Convocation will take place at the Arts and Culture Centre (see building here).

3. Register to attend and order your academic dress and tickets

Registration for Convocation Spring 2022 is now open via Memorial’s Self Service.

The deadline to register is May 4.  

At the same time, book your academic dress rental and reserve guest tickets.

Students with pending status are encouraged to register to attend, as it will guarantee your guest tickets. 

Even if you do not plan to attend your convocation ceremony, please visit Memorial Self Service so arrangements can be made to send your parchment to you.  

4. Arrange accessibility accomodations

Students who require accessibility accommodations should contact the Convocation team directly at If any guests require accessibility accommodations, contact the Arts and Culture Centre ushering staff at 729-3650.

5. Prepare your family and guests

Share the details with your family and friends who will be joining you on your graduation day so they will know what to expect. For more information on parking, accessibility, and guest accommodations, please visit the Family section on this website for more details.
