National and international organizations from a wide-range of industries and business sectors recruit Memorial graduates. They often hold on-campus presentations about their organization and the opportunities offered to new graduates.
Sessions are also held by graduate schools, volunteer associates and companies offering part-time work for current students.
Calendar of Events is a great way to keep track of various organizations and employers are on camous throughout the semster!
Even if you are not seeking a job, these sessions can be used to gather information and find out what employers are looking for in new graduates so you can be better prepared when you enter the job market. Be sure to note their contact information, chances are they will be recruiting in the future.
Tips for information sessions:
- Dress professionally. Business casual is recommended.
- Have copies of your resume handy & make sure your LinkedIn account is updated
- Practice your handshake - leaves a great first impression

In the event that Memorial University is suddenly closed or shut down for any reason (Weather, power outage, etc) information sessions scheduled by Career Development will automatically be cancelled if they take place during the time the University is closed.
