Analyst

Alam is a M.Sc. in management student who joins The Fund this year as an analyst. He started his career as a junior associate in the IDLC Securities Limited, a prominent brokerage house in Bangladesh, where he actively managed the portfolio of a significant number of investment clients. He also worked for a long time as a financial accountant in the Social Islami Bank Limited, Bangladesh. Earlier, Alam completed his BBA from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has also completed 900 out of 1,300 marks of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a globally recognized accounting body. In addition to academic life, Alam is actively working as a community volunteer. He’s a volunteer accountant with the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program, an intervention program that nurtures the attachment between parent and child, in St. John’s. In 2022, he also played significant roles in helping new international students at Memorial. Alam has a strong passion for study and writing. His work has been published in both national and international journals and periodicals.
