Phylogenetic relationships of Atlantic (Striped) wolffish (Anarhichas lupus L. 1758), Spotted Wolffish (Anarhichas minor Olafsen, 1774), and Broadhead (Northern) Wolffish (A. denticulatus Kroyer, 1844)
The analysis is based on 15,082 bp of
the consensus sequence. An exhaustive search of all possible
trees was made by Maximum Parsimony. A. minor and
A. lupus are more closely related to each other
than either is to A. denticulatus, with 97%
bootstrap support in 10,000 replicates.
