Tschbermak
Erich von Tschermak (1871 - 1962)

Tschermak rediscovered Mendel's publications, but unlike de Vries and Correns did not conduct any original genetic research of his own. Tschermak's grandfather taught Mendel biology at the University of Vienna. Of Mendel's three re-discoverers, only Tschermak survived into the molecular era of genetics.
