think": Descent with Modification
The first
phylogenetic tree, from Darwin's notebook of 1836. This
notebook, along with the diagram, was in 2021 reported stolen
from its library, possibly as long as 20 years ago. Theories
of the "Mad Collector" abound.
HOMEWORK:
Redraw Darwin's tree in modern format, noting in particular
the living status of species A, B, C, & D.
