Students who wish to declare a Major in Biochemistry or Biochemistry (Nutrition) may do so at any time. Those who wish to apply for Honours standing should generally do so at the end of the Winter semester.
Please note that we strongly recommend that students apply to declare their majors no later than May 31 in any year so that your major is on record at the Registrar's Office before Fall registration starts. Failure to apply by this date may result in your application not being processed before your registration time. In addition, students who do not declare their major by this date may not be eligible for departmental scholarship or other award nominations.
